Anzac Day story.

This story is about the war so it’s pretty horrific. It’s in the perspective of soldier. If you don’t like dying don’t read it.(one death)

Me and my mate were contemplating ideas for battle,”What if i’m right up to a Turk and my gun doesn’t work?”I asked nervously.”Throw it away and punch him on the nose” suggested my mate.We climbed out of our trench.”YOW!” I screamed.”What?” everyone asked anxiously.Just a rat I growled. There were sighs of relief. We had about 50 snipers all round the place,All was well until…*Pew pew pew* The turks were shooting!I aimed and got him in one shot. That;s when the worst happened,It was like slow-motion.A sniper had shot, the bullet slowly made it’s way towards us.I spun around mouth dry,My mate screamed as it hit him in the heart.”NO NO NOO!!” I yelled. The turks made that their escape time as I fought the struggling hands holding me back but they would not budge,So I merely sank to the ground sobbing. My mate.My BEST mate!It could not have happened it would not have happenened. All I wanted now was to kill ALL those Turks.Nothing would stand in my way.I carried his body to the poppy field of hope,Where he would rest peacefully for now.I wanted revenge and I was gonna get it.

THE END. Apparently world war 1 was WAY WAY more horrific. To put that out of your head if it gives you horrid thoughts or something:Daisies, daisies butter mellow turn this stupid fat rat yellow.

What do we eat? Cheeseburgers.
